DavesArtRoom was created as an idea of art to sit side by side or complement the music.  The simple idea was that I have tinkered with art in one way or another, most of my life, while my brother has played guitar most of his, him having been in bands at times throughout.  Drums have been an off and on hobby of mine.  So within the last so many years my brother and I started playing together.  It’s definitely been a process as we continued to struggle and play songs that my brother has written.  This would mark the first times where my brother would sing and write his own material, and for me it would mean playing songs with him again like when we were little.  As time passed we felt that these songs were developing into projects and concepts that we felt we wanted to record in the studio.  And unlike my brother, I had never played in bands.
